At School Pics by Mejdrich Photography, LLC, a locally owned and operated family business serving Arizona communities for 23 years, the safety of every child we photograph is our highest priority and the foundation of everything we do. As a fully independent, locally owned Arizona company, we have no ties to national corporations or private equity firms. Every aspect of our operations-from photographer vetting to data handling-stays under our direct control, ensuring complete transparency and security for your school and families.

 

Your child's safety is personal to us​

Every member of our photography team must complete and maintain:

• A valid Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS), which includes comprehensive state and FBI fingerprint-based criminal background checks

• Ongoing monitoring and renewal as required by Arizona law (ARS §15-512)

• Verification against sex offender registries and other disqualifying records as part of the AZDPS clearance process

These screenings are conducted through official government channels (including electronic Livescan fingerprinting where applicable), and no one works with students until full clearance is received, verified, and documented. We ensure clearances remain active and current at all times. Because we are a small, family-owned company that lives and works in the same Arizona communities we serve, we treat every student with the same care and respect we'd want for our own children.

 

Our staff are not anonymous contractors-they are our neighbors, often parents and grandparents themselves, who truly understand the trust families place in us. You can be confident that when our team steps onto your campus, every single person has been thoroughly vetted through Arizona's rigorous standards so your students are safe, your staff is protected, and your families can relax knowing their children are in good hands.
